Providing cultural, social and civic interests for the men in the Greater Sun City Center community.
Purpose: The Men’s Club of Sun City Center carries out numerous community service projects and provides and promotes cultural and educational programs for all male residents residing in Sun City Center, Kings Point and Freedom Plaza. It also cooperates with other clubs and organizations in the best interest of SCC. Its flagship program is the Lifeline Medical Alert System which it makes available to area residents. It also sponsors support groups for men and women suffering from Parkinson’s Disease, Hearing Loss (including the recycling of old hearing aid devices), Prostate Cancer, Neuropathy, Diabetes, Low Vision and Man to Man Life Support Group.
Membership: Membership is open to all male residents of Sun City Center, Kings Point Members with a KP Club Usage Card and Freedom Plaza. Annual dues are $20.00.
Meetings: The club holds regular luncheon meetings at the Community Hall on the third Wednesday of each month, beginning at 11:30. The meetings start with a speaker who informs, educates, amuses or entertains and concludes with an outstanding buffet lunch. The cost to attend the monthly meeting is $14.00. In May and December of each year we invite our wives, sweethearts and/or significant others to join us for our luncheon meeting. In February, we also sponsor a Valentine’s Day dinner dance for these same participants.
