Volleyball

Purpose: To provide an opportunity for those interested in a more energetic, non-contact sport to participate in the sport of volleyball, meet other people, and have a few times each week.  All skill levels are welcome; we have a three-hit-per-side rule so that everyone gets a chance to participate.

Membership: Open to all CA members and KP Club Card members. Annual club dues are $20.00 to replace equipment as needed.

Meetings: Pick-up games are played every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 8:30-10:30am and Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm all year round on the courts located between the pickleball complex and the dog park on the SCC South Campus. Attire for the games should be sneakers/gym shoes and lightweight clothing suitable for vigorous exercise. Everyone attending the games will be rotated in and out periodically if necessary to accommodate all who want to play. Competitions with volleyball groups in other retirement communities are organized when possible.  Residents can play 3 times to try it out before being asked to join the club.

Contact: For more information, please feel free to stop by any of our game days to inquire OR email:  volleyballclubofscc@gmail.com for more information.
