Provides practice and instruction in the art of photography using hi-tech equipment.

PHOTO CLUB

Purpose:

To promote interest and participation in photography as a hobby

 

Membership:

Open to all Community Association members. Annual dues are $20 per person or $30 per household couple.

 

Meetings:

Second Tuesday of every month throughout the year in the Caper Room
(Atrium Building, Central Campus), starting at 6:30 p.m. with an educational program.

Equipment available:

Computers with software for enhancing photos and for creating slide shows; large format printers, scanners for prints and slides; a portrait studio and an object studio for closeup photos. The Photo Lab is located in the Old Town Hall Building on Central Campus and is open during posted hours, usually Monday through Friday 9 am until noon.

 

Competitions are held four times per year. Educational programs are offered to members in various software programs and photographic techniques. Field trips for members which provide practice and instruction in techniques are also offered. The clubs website is located at http://www.photoclubscc.com
