The Sun City Center Leathernecks Club was formed to encourage a continuation of the pride, fellowship and dedication to country that distinguishes the U.S. Marine Corps. Our membership includes veterans of World War II, Korea, Viet Nam and other conflicts. We also work to support active-duty service men and women, as well as other worthwhile causes.
Purpose: The Club was established to provide a means for members to meet socially and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow Marines, past and present. Additionally, the club works to support depoyed active-duty service personnel and participates in community events with other veteran organizations. We also provide a Marine Corps presence and appropriate farewell ceremonies for our fallen comrades.
Membership: Membership is open to residents of Sun City Center and Kings Point who have served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps, or as U.S. Navy personnel attached to or supporting a Marine unit.
Meetings: The Club meets at 18:30 on the third Tuesday of each month in the Sandpiper Room, SCC Atrium Building.
